ANNOUNCEMENT
Assignment Agreement for the MHSA Housing Program Santa Clara County is seeking public input on its intention to participate in the state administered Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Housing Program, which is funded through the Community Services and Supports (CSS) component of the MHSA. In order to participate in the program, Santa Clara County must execute an Assignment Agreement authorizing the California Department of Mental Health (DMH) to transfer $19,249,300 to the California Housing and Finance Agency (CalHFA). Upon executing the Assignment Agreement, CalHFA and DMH will jointly administer Santa Clara County’s portion of the MHSA Housing Program, which will be used to build permanent supportive housing for MHSA eligible Santa Clara County residents.
